Acceptable Use Policy

Effective March 2026 · Mile High Networks LLC

By subscribing to any residential or commercial broadband Internet service (the "Services") provided by Mile High Networks LLC, Customer agrees not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose and to comply with all terms of this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP").

This Policy supplements the Master Services Agreement ("MSA"). In the event of a conflict, the MSA governs.

1. Permitted Use

Residential Service

Residential Service is for personal and family use within a single household. Customer shall not operate any business, resell or share access with third parties (including via wireless), or advertise the Service for use by unauthorized users.

Commercial Service

Commercial Service is for use by a business entity. Only Customer's employees and authorized patrons may use the Service within the business premises. Customer is solely responsible for any misuse through their account.

2. Generally Prohibited Activities

The following are prohibited regardless of who commits them through Customer's account:

  • Any threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, or privacy-invasive use
  • Surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, or spam (CAN-SPAM / TCPA violations)
  • Publishing infringing, obscene, indecent, or unlawful material
  • Advertising or selling goods for non-personal purposes under Residential Service
  • Harvesting others' information (email addresses, phone numbers) without consent
  • Creating a false identity to mislead others as to the origin of a message
  • Transmitting viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other harmful software
  • Interfering with or disrupting networks connected to the Services
  • Attempting unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or networks
  • Hosting publicly accessible file sharing, gaming, or email servers on Residential Service (FCC-authorized smart home and IoT devices excluded)
  • Interfering with another Customer's use and enjoyment of the Services

3. Prohibited Internet Service Activities

  • Background and Server-Type Applications — IRC bots, malware bots, spam bots, unauthorized web servers (smart home/IoT excluded)
  • Network Security Violations — packet sniffers, password crackers, or compromise attempts
  • Account Sharing — sharing Service to avoid paying for a separate account
  • Commercial Use on Residential Accounts — upgrade via [email protected]
  • Email Abuse — unsolicited messages, harassment, forged headers
  • Pyramid and Money-Making Schemes — extortion or chain letters

4. Copyright Infringement

Mile High Networks may remove content alleged to infringe upon receiving a DMCA notice and may terminate Service for repeat infringement. See our DMCA Copyright Infringement Policy for details.

5. Enforcement

Mile High Networks may immediately suspend or terminate Service without notice for failure to comply with this Policy or the MSA. Upon termination for a violation, Customer is responsible for all charges through the end of the current billing period plus any applicable termination fees. Violations may also result in prosecution under state and federal law.
